The variety of cold meats is better than at other supermarkets. They have a great variety of dry goods etc. And the best of all, they actually have checkout staff, which is the best. Glad they don't have self checkouts.
Was able to get the show bags I wanted. Really great that they have made show bags available (with the cancellation of the Royal Adelaide Show). Also bought one of their charity bags - another great option. Drakes are always good for alternative products not stocked by the other supermarkets. Still visit here at times for specials, and check out alternative products. Still going from time to time. (April 2024)(June 2024).
My favourite supermarket by far with awesome staff. Good selection and toothpaste without extra packaging. Lots of ways to make green choices. I can bring my own bags to put fruit and veggies in.
Excellent staff store fully stocked and always clean
The staff make this store a pleasant place to shop, they're fantastic. All very friendly and helpful, and willing to assist even if they're busy. All of the Drake's stores seem to have nice staff but I've found this one is the best (that I've experienced). Items are as expected, it's a well stocked supermarket with a wide range of products. The only small gripe I have is the intrusive nature of some of the shelf fill equipment and staff using these blocking areas of the shelves from view. Watch your step around these, as there is a lack of care and stools, ladders etc are left unattended. Wednesday is pensioner discount day so it's usually quite busy. The shopping centre car park is not great, on a steep slope and not huge. Highly recommended.
Today I was shopping at this great store & the staff were amazing. I want to pay a compliment to a young lady, on her own, in the deli section. There were many people patiently waiting & she was rushed off her feet, however, she politely served the customers with a smile on her face. Well done Georgia.

Great customer service! As someone who works in a supermarket, I understand how hard it is to maintain a positive attitude throughout the day so I was really happy when, at 5:30 in the afternoon on a hot day, I went to checkout my groceries and was greeted with a bright smile and conversation.
